What is the Cozy Mystery Library?

The Cozy Mystery Library is the place to go for all the cozy mystery goodness the internet has to offer.

Life gets busy and sometimes the stress can seem overwhelming. To escape, many of us turn to books for relaxation and comfort. Cozy mysteries are the perfect retreat to a world of friendly characters and small town intrigue. But after the pages are done, the story is not over. Author websites, podcasts, booktubers, and blogs all add the to the stories in unique and interesting ways.

What is a Cozy Mystery and Why Read Them?

A few years ago, when I was going through a hard time with work and other worries, I stumbled upon The Downward Dog Mysteries by Tracy Weber, wherein a yoga instructor solves crimes with the help of her trusty German shepard sidekick. This introduced me to the cozy mystery genre.

Cozy Mysteries are murder mysteries where the gore stays off the page. In lieu of lewd scenes, cozies keep the focus on the amateur sleuth main character, his or her neighborhood, friends, and romance in a clean, enjoyable way. Who doesn't love simple, sweet, and satisfying stories where crime is solved by a clever sleuth with people skills?
